Easy cannabis biscuits recipe doesn’t require any fancy equipment. If you have a mixing bowl, wooden spoon and some simple ingredients, you’re off to the races. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits won’t take up much of your time in the kitchen.
Several Different Methods of Infusion
There are several different ways to infuse cannabis biscuits. You can use cannamilk, cannaoil or cannabis yogurt whey. Otherwise, if you’re really pressed for time, use decarbed, finely ground cannabis. Ensure that you thoroughly whisk ground herb into the dry ingredients for consistent dosing.
Cannabis Yogurt Whey
If you made cannabis Greek yogurt, you probably saved the whey. Now you can put the leftover cannabis whey to good use. The terpenes and flavonoids captured in the whey create a bold and delicious taste, similar to sourdough bread.
Cannamilk
If you don’t have cannamilk, easily make some. Start by adding small pieces of decarboxylated cannabis to milk in a double boiler. Heat to 180°F (almost boiling) and maintain heat for at least 30 minutes while stirring often. Pour through a strainer and let cool.
Cannabis Infused Oil
When making infused oil, be careful to maintain a low heat. Otherwise, the cannabis and the oil could scorch. This can degrade the cannabinoids and ruin the taste and texture of your oil. Go low and slow and never get water in your oil.
Cannabis Biscuits Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 Tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c grated cheddar cheese (optional)
- ⅓ c cooking oil or cannaoil
- ¾ c whey or cannamilk
Yield: 8 biscuits
How To Make Cannabis Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix all of the dry ingredients and the grated cheddar cheese together.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients.
- Put liquids in the well.
- Gently stir until dough forms.
- Roll out to 1” thick, then cut into rounds. Alternatively, form into 1” patties by hand, using ⅓ cup of dough per biscuit.
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet. You can brush the tops of the dough with egg wash if you want a shiny top crust with golden brown colour.
- Put on center rack in oven for 15 minutes or until biscuits are slightly browned.
What to Eat With Cheesy Cannabis Biscuits
Cannabis biscuits are delicious all by themselves. However, you can enjoy them with bacon and eggs, butter, jam, and of course…gravy!!! These delicious biscuits also can be served as a side with any soups or meat dishes including chicken, pork and beef.

Variation Garlic Cheddar Cannabis Biscuits
